1. Civil Engineering degree from an Ontario University, with preference for graduates from Waterloo, Toronto or Queen's.
2. Some experience with General Contractors.
3. 3+ years of Canadian experience with institutional and commercial type projects (i.e. schools, libraries, community centres, hockey arenas, swimming pools, pre-engineered building structures, etc.). Residential experience will also be considered.
4. LEED experience considered an asset.
Setup and preparation of prequalification proposals.
Setup and preparation of upcoming tenders and bids.
Setup, preparation, generation of RFIs.
quotations for changes to contract
Document Control indexing and filing systems
Operations and Maintenance Manuals
Assistance and generation of quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Assistance as needed in the tendering processes.
Deliveries and pickups to be arranged if and as required.
Setup and filing as needed for the above-mentioned tasks.
Assist Project Manager and Site Superintendent in Contract Administration of projects.
The Corporation may amend or modify the above-noted responsibilities, duties and reporting of the Employee at its discretion from time to time.
This is a permanent position plus benefits.
Salary: $60K to $80K depending on years of experience.
